While many people associate ZIP codes with birthday cards and utility bills, there is more to a ZIP code than delivering mail. ZIP codes determine the allocation of sales and property taxes, affect the ability to collect federal grants, help establish real estate values, and bring recognition to the city of the given ZIP code.
There are four ZIP codes that are used within the city limits of Taylorsville, but not a single one of those are directly identified as a Taylorsville ZIP code.
