The Taylorsville City Police Department was formed on April 1st, 2005. Officers were hired from existing agencies within Utah as well as Alaska, California, and Idaho. Many of these officers have extensive experience in law enforcement from Patrol Operations, Investigations, Community Outreach, Narcotic Enforcement, Traffic Enforcement, and Crime Scene Management.

You had a vehicle accident.  You lost your cell phone.  Your lawnmower was stolen from your yard.  You filed a police report and now need a copy of that report.  What do you do?  It is easy to get a copy of your police report.

Property/Vacation Watch Request

Heading out of town for a few days? The Police Department offers a Property Watch program where officers will drive by your residence to make sure everything is alright.
